Andrew Brougham brings a lifetime of experience, dedication, and passion to his work in mediation and advocacy. Raised in a family of seven children, he learned early on the values of negotiation, sharing, and respect—skills that would shape his future. Growing up with a sibling who had a developmental disability, Andrew developed a deep understanding of the challenges families face when navigating complex needs.
An avid athlete, Andrew has been involved in football organizations across British Columbia and the United States. In the 1990s, he transitioned into the music and film industry, working closely with professional athletes from the NFL, CFL, and NBA, as well as providing personal security for high-profile celebrities. During this time, he also began working in contract negotiations within the government, establishing specialized youth homes designed to support vulnerable youth—particularly those who were at risk, criminally active, or struggling with addiction. Over the course of 20 years, he ran multiple group homes and worked with thousands of families, providing support, guidance, and intervention.
With decades of hands-on experience, Andrew decided to formalize his knowledge by pursuing professional certifications in mediation, trauma intervention, and conflict resolution. This marked the next phase of his career—one focused on helping families, individuals, and organizations navigate complex challenges through structured mediation.
Andrew raised his eldest son on his own, who has since graduated and now works alongside him. He also adopted a child at the age of 11, who is now preparing to graduate. Andrew continues to live and work in the Vancouver area, providing guidance to families and individuals across North America. His commitment to advocacy, resolution, and support remains at the heart of everything he does.
